How This Mock Works and Test Strategy
Pattern
- 30 questions in 40 minutes – about 80 seconds per question.
- Sections are mixed: roughly 13 quantitative, 10 reasoning and 7 verbal questions.
- Each correct answer carries equal marks; this mock has no negative marking, so attempt every question.
A three-pass strategy
- Pass 1 (about 20 minutes): answer everything you can solve in under a minute – verbal, direct formula questions, simple series.
- Pass 2 (about 15 minutes): return to the longer calculations and arrangements.
- Pass 3 (last 5 minutes): make intelligent guesses on anything left. Eliminate two options first – your chance improves from 25% to 50%.
Habits of high scorers
- Keep a rough sheet ready with the alphabet positions (A = 1 … Z = 26) and squares up to 25.
- Check the options before calculating – often you only need the last digit or an approximate value.
- Don't spend more than two minutes on any single question.
- In verbal questions, read the full sentence before choosing; one word often changes the meaning.
Before the real test
- Practise at least three full mocks under timed conditions.
- Analyse every wrong answer: was it a concept gap, a calculation slip or a time issue?
- Sleep well the night before and reach the venue (or log in) 30 minutes early with your ID and admit card.
Career Points: your best score on this mock earns up to 150 points, awarded pro-rata as you improve.
